10.5 Inch Brass Decorative Katar for the Dulha
In many Indian weddings, the dulha carries a katar with his sherwani and safa, so he looks like a raja on his big day. This 10.5 inch brass decorative katar is made for that moment. It is for show only. The front is smooth and curved with no sharp edge, so it is safe to hold through the baraat, the pheras and all the family photos.
It weighs about 850 grams, light enough to carry in one hand for hours and heavy enough to feel solid. After the wedding, keep it in the display cabinet or on a small wall bracket as a memory of the day. Many families keep one dulha katar at home and bring it out for every wedding in the house, so the same wedding katar passes from one groom to the next. It is cast in brass, and the carving on the collar and the handle is finished by hand with chisel work.
What you can see on it:
- A long, smooth front that curves gently and narrows towards the tip
- A thick carved collar where the front meets the handle
- A handle that curls round like a hook, with rows of small beads along it
- Deep carving at the end of the curl
- Bright golden brass all over
Bring it out on the big day, and let the dulha walk in looking every bit the groom his family dreamed of.
What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.
How long will delivery take?

Do you ship outside India?
Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.
Can I get a custom murti made?
Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.
How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
