10 Inch Bronze Kansa Ghanta Gong from Odisha

The evening aarti is almost over, the diya is moving in circles, and then the gong rings out and fills the whole house. That deep, long ring is what a kansa ghanta is known for. This 10 inch bronze kansa ghanta gong brings that same sound to your pooja room. It is a round plate, about 10 inch across, with a raised middle where you strike it. Its face is dark, and fine lines are cut into it so the bright metal shows through: a net pattern round the centre, then rings of small leaf marks out to the edge. A cord runs through the rim so you can hold it up or hang it on a hook while you play, and a cane stick comes with it. At about 1.4 kg it is light enough to hold in one hand through a full aarti, yet heavy enough to give a full, round note. Strike the raised middle with the stick for the deepest sound and near the edge for a softer one. Keep it dry and wipe it with a soft cloth after use. The dark face is part of its look, so do not scrub it with polish.

Is it brass? No. This kansa ghanta is bronze, also called kansa or bell metal.

Ring it once at the end of tonight’s aarti, and you will hear why this old Odisha gong has never gone out of use.

What are your murtis made of?

We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.

Will the murti look exactly like the photos?

Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.

How long will delivery take?

Orders within India are usually delivered in 6–10 days, with free shipping. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.

Do you ship outside India?

Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.

Can I get a custom murti made?

Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.

How do I clean and care for my murti?

Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.

Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.

Which payment options are available?

You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
