18 Inch Brass Elephant Diya with Peacock to Light at Every Festival
Run your finger along the elephant’s back and you will feel the chisel work before you see it. This 18 inch brass elephant diya with peacock is cast in brass, and then the karigar goes over every part by hand, cutting the flowers and lines you see in the photos.
The elephant, the pot and the base
A blanket of carved flowers covers the elephant’s back, with a fringe along its edge, and there are anklets on its legs. One front foot rests on a round pot, carved with flowers of its own. The trunk curls high into the air and holds up the lamp. Everything stands on a round platform: criss-cross lines on top, a band of flowers round the side, and four small carved feet underneath.
The lamp, the bells and the peacock
At the top of the trunk sits a star-shaped lamp bowl with points all round its edge for the wicks. A ring of small bells hangs just under the bowl, and a peacock with a fanned crest stands at the very top. With every wick lit, it works as a peacock lamp and an elephant diya at once.
Is it heavy to move? It is 7 kg. Carry it with both hands under the round base, never by the trunk or the lamp.
The elephant is believed to bring good luck to a home, and the peacock is loved as the bird of Krishna and Kartikeya, so the two together make a happy piece for a new house or a festival.

What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.
How long will delivery take?
Orders within India are usually delivered in 6–10 days, with free shipping. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.
Do you ship outside India?
Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.
Can I get a custom murti made?
Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.
How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
