7 Inch Brass Peacock Diya on Stand

Every evening, a little ghee, one cotton wick, a match. This 7 inch brass peacock diya on stand is made for that small daily habit, and it looks lovely even when it is not lit.

Using it every day

The oil cup sits right in front of the peacock, at a good height above the shelf, so the flame stays away from cloth and flowers below. Use ghee or any pooja oil with one wick. After the oil is used up, wipe the cup once it is cool, so old oil does not dry on the brass.

What you see on it

A peacock stands on a round, bell shaped stand with long lines running down it. He has a small crest on his head, a feather pattern like scales on his body, and a tall tail that curls up and back in big swirls. The oil cup is joined to his chest. It is cast in brass and then finished by hand with chisel work, so every feather line is clear.

Keeping it clean

Wash the cup with warm water and a little dish soap, and dry it fully. For the tail, use a soft dry brush. At about 1.2 kg it stands firm and is easy to lift.

Is it a lamp or a diya?
Both words are used. Many people search for a peacock lamp, others say peacock diya. It is the same thing: an oil lamp with one wick.

In many homes the peacock is linked with Lord Krishna and Lord Murugan, and is believed to be a good sign in the house.

Light it at sunset, and let the little flame be the last thing you see in the mandir at night.

What are your murtis made of?

We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.

Will the murti look exactly like the photos?

Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.

How long will delivery take?

Orders within India are usually delivered in 6–10 days, with free shipping. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.

Do you ship outside India?

Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.

Can I get a custom murti made?

Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.

How do I clean and care for my murti?

Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.

Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.

Which payment options are available?

You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
