9.5 Inch Brass Sitting Ganesh Idol
Do you have a mandir shelf or a living room table that needs one clear Ganesh ji, not a crowd of small idols? This 9.5 inch brass sitting ganesh idol is big enough to hold that spot on his own.
He is about 9.5 inch tall and weighs about 5.3 kg, so he sits firmly and is seen easily from across the room.
Details you will notice
- His trunk curls down to the modak in his front left hand
- Front right hand raised in blessing, palm open
- Two upper hands holding his usual items
- A tall crown with a round jewel and a pointed top
- Big ears carved with patterns, a wide belly and crossed legs
- His mushak sitting at his feet
- Small round panels on the oval base, each with a tiny seated Ganesh
Where to place him
Put him on a chowki in the centre of the mandir, on a console facing the main door, or on an office side table. Keep a little space in front for a diya and a plate of modak on Chaturthi. Lift him with both hands under the base. It is cast in brass and finished by hand with chisel work, and many buyers looking for a brass ganesh statue for daily pooja pick this middle size because it is neither too small nor too heavy.
Will it lose its shine? Brass slowly turns darker with air. Wipe it every week with a dry cloth, and clean it with lemon and water once a month to bring the golden colour back.
Seat him where the family gathers, and start each morning with a quick Ganpati Bappa Morya.
What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.

Do you ship outside India?
Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.
Can I get a custom murti made?
Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.
What if my order arrives damaged?

How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
