13.5 Inch Black and Golden Brass Tirupati Balaji Idol
If you have been looking for a brass balaji idol in colour, not plain golden, take a close look at this one. The 13.5 inch black and golden brass tirupati balaji idol shows Lord Venkateswara the way most devotees picture him at Tirumala, with a dark face and bright golden jewels. Here are three things you will like about it.
The two colours. His face, arms, hands and feet have a black lacquer coating. The crown, the long garlands, the chest jewels and the folds of his dhoti are left in golden brass. The white and red namam on his forehead shows up clearly on the black.
Every hand in its place. The upper right hand holds the chakra and the upper left the shankh. The lower right hand points down with the palm open, giving blessing, and the lower left rests on his hip. From the back you see the tall crown, the sacred thread and the pleated dhoti, so he looks finished from all sides.
A size that fits. At about 4.5 kg he stands steady on a round lotus base, and most home mandir shelves have room for him.
Lord Balaji is believed to remove the troubles of those who come to him with faith. In the South he is called Venkateswara Swamy, and families keep a venkateswara swamy idol like this one for Saturday pooja with tulsi leaves and a ghee lamp. It is cast in brass and finished by hand with chisel work.
Wipe him with a soft dry cloth, and keep water and polish away from the black parts.
Seat him at eye level in your mandir, and let “Govinda, Govinda” be the first words of every Saturday morning.
What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.
How long will delivery take?
Orders within India are usually delivered in 6–10 days, with free shipping. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.
Do you ship outside India?
Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.
Can I get a custom murti made?
Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.
How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
