48 Inch Golden Brass Tirupati Balaji Idol for a Temple or Big Mandir
Four feet of golden brass, 35 kg, garlands down to the base: this 48 inch golden brass tirupati balaji idol is a big decision for any family or temple committee. Before you buy, check these four things.
Four checks for a four feet Balaji
- Will he fit? He stands 48 inch tall on a round stepped base. Add the height of your platform and make sure the crown clears the ceiling or the mandir top with room to spare.
- Who will lift him? Plan two or three people. Hold the base and the body; the chakra, shankh and bead garlands are not handles.
- Which finish? This one is golden brass all over, with no black parts, so the whole idol shines as one colour in lamp light.
- Where will people see him? Temples often seat Balaji where devotees see him the moment they walk in. At home, the wall facing the pooja room door works the same way.
Now the details you notice up close. The crown rises tall with a net pattern, and a broad namam covers the forehead and eyes. Small flames ring the chakra in his upper right hand and the shankh in his upper left. One lower hand is open toward the ground in blessing; the other sits on the hip. Rows of jewels cross the chest, the dhoti falls in carved folds, and two long bead garlands drop from the arms to the base. The karigar sharpens every bead and jewel with a chisel once the casting is done.
Families wanting a venkateswara idol for pooja room use, and temples needing a main balaji statue, often pick this height so everyone sees his face at aarti.
Om Namo Venkatesaya.
What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.
How long will delivery take?
Orders within India are usually delivered in 6–10 days, with free shipping. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.
Do you ship outside India?
Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.
Can I get a custom murti made?
Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.
How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
