48 Inch Panchloha Tirupati Balaji Idol
At 43 kg, this murti needs three or four people and a little planning before it is moved. That is the first thing to know about this 48 inch panchloha tirupati balaji idol: once Lord Venkateswara is in place, he is meant to stay there for years.
Before he arrives
Choose the spot first. Keep a strong, flat platform ready that is wider than the round base, and check your doorways, as he stands 4 feet tall. Lift him only from the base, never by the chakra, the shankh or the long garlands at the sides.
What you see
He stands straight on a round lotus base, wearing the tall kireetam carved with bands of flowers. The namam covers his forehead, as at Tirumala. His upper right hand holds the chakra and the upper left holds the shankh, each on a staff with carved garlands falling down to the base. The lower right hand points down to his feet, where devotees are believed to find safety, and the lower left rests on his hip. Snake hood armlets, big round earrings and layers of necklaces cover the upper body, and the dhoti is carved with rows of flowers. Every line is finished by hand with chisel work after casting.
The murti is cast in panchloha, the traditional mix of five metals used for temple murtis, which gives it this deep golden colour.
Is it for a home or a temple?
Both. As a large tirupati balaji idol, it suits a big pooja room or a temple, and as a panchloha balaji idol it is clearly seen from the back of a hall.
Once he stands in your mandir, every Saturday aarti will feel like a small trip to Tirumala.
What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.

Do you ship outside India?
Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.
Can I get a custom murti made?
Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.
How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
