48 Inch Black and Golden Brass Tirupati Balaji Idol
A plain golden Balaji shows every part in the same colour. In this 48 inch black and golden brass tirupati balaji idol, the face, arms, hands and feet are in black lacquer coating, while the crown, namam, jewels and clothes stay in bright golden brass. The dark face with the golden namam stands out even from far away.
What makes it different
- A dark face with a big golden namam on the forehead and a tall carved crown
- Chakra in the upper right hand and shankh in the upper left, both with flames on the rim
- Lower right hand pointing down to his feet, lower left resting on the hip
- Round ear ornaments, layers of necklaces and a long carved waist band
- Two long bead garlands hanging down on both sides to the base
- Black feet standing on a round, stepped lotus base
Every part is cast in brass and finished by hand with chisel work, and the black parts get their coating after that.
Placing a 4 feet murti
At about 40 kg, plan for two or three people to move him, and lift only from the base. Choose a strong floor or platform and check the height of the mandir ceiling first. Wipe him with a soft dry cloth; do not rub the black parts with polish or lemon.
Is he good for a temple? Yes. Many devotees choose a balaji statue of this size for a home temple room or a small public temple, and he is also known as Venkateswara Swamy or Srinivasa.
Once he stands in your mandir, every Saturday aarti will feel closer to Tirumala.
What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.
How long will delivery take?
Orders within India are usually delivered in 6–10 days, with free shipping. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.
Do you ship outside India?
Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.
Can I get a custom murti made?
Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.
How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
