6.5 Inch Brass Nataraja Statue
The ring of flames catches your eye first. Each little flame stands out from the round frame like a tiny leaf, and a beaded band runs along the inside of the ring. In the middle, this 6.5 inch brass nataraja statue shows Lord Shiva in his dance.
His hair flies out on both sides of his crown, as if he is spinning. One hand is raised to bless you, another arm swings across his body, and the upper hands reach out towards the ring. One leg stands firm while the other lifts high and swings across.
Below him, the ring rests on a round lotus seat set on a stepped base with carved borders. Turn it around and the back of the ring is smooth, with a row of small holes and the flames cut out all along the edge, so it looks neat even in front of a mirror.
It is cast in brass and finished by hand with chisel work. At 0.6 kg it is light, so you can lift it with one hand while cleaning. Dust it with a soft paintbrush, as the flames have many small gaps.
Nataraja means the king of dance. His dance is believed to keep the world turning, ending the old and starting the new. That is why dancers keep a small nataraja idol near their practice space, and many families keep one in the study or the mandir.
Put him on the shelf you look at most, and that small dance will lift your mood on slow days.
What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.
How long will delivery take?
Orders within India are usually delivered in 6–10 days, with free shipping. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.
Do you ship outside India?
Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.
Can I get a custom murti made?
Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.
How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
