8 Inch Brass Kali Mata Idol Standing on Shiva
Maa Kali is believed to be the fierce form of Devi who destroys evil and protects her children from fear. Devotees pray to her for courage, and many keep her close during Kali Puja and Navratri. This 8 inch brass kali mata idol shows her in her best known form, standing on Lord Shiva.
What you see on the idol
Maa stands tall with her tongue out and wide open eyes under a high crown. Her many arms spread on both sides. You can clearly see a trishul, a curved sword, a bow and a round shield, and one hand holds the head of an asura by its hair. A long garland hangs from her neck to her knees, and a belt of small heads goes round her waist. Lord Shiva lies on his back under her feet, on an oval base with a lotus petal border. From the back, her long hair falls all the way down, carved strand by strand. The piece is cast in brass and then finished by hand with chisel work.
Where to place her
At about 1.3 kg she sits well on a home mandir shelf or a small chowki. Keep her a little above eye level, with space for a diya in front. Wipe her with a dry cloth so the thin arms stay clean.
A question buyers ask
Can I keep a Kali murti at home? Yes. Many families keep a brass kali statue in the home mandir and offer her red hibiscus flowers.
Say “Jai Maa Kali” each evening before her, and let her stand guard over your home through every dark night.
What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.
How long will delivery take?
Orders within India are usually delivered in 6–10 days, with free shipping. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.
Do you ship outside India?
Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.
Can I get a custom murti made?
Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.
How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
