5.5 Inch Brass Sankha Chakra Namah Diya

On Saturdays, and through the Purattasi month, homes that pray to Lord Venkateswara light lamps in front of Balaji. On Vaikuntha Ekadashi, Vishnu devotees light lamps at home too. This 5.5 inch brass sankha chakra namah diya was made for exactly those days.

How to use it on those days

Put a little ghee or sesame oil and one cotton wick in each of the three cups, and light all three. Set it on a flat plate in front of Balaji or Vishnu ji. The long base keeps the three flames in one neat row. When the cups cool down, wipe out the old oil with a paper towel.

What you see

Three symbols stand up behind the cups. On the left is the chakra, round like a flower with lines around it. In the middle is the namah, the U shaped tilak with a line down the centre that you see on Lord Venkateswara’s forehead (some call it namam). On the right is the shankh, the conch, with its curl clearly carved. Under them, the base has a carved front and stands on small feet. It is cast in brass and finished by hand with chisel work.

The sankha chakra and the namah are the marks of Lord Vishnu, and seeing them lit up in the mandir is believed to invite his blessings. At about 1.6 kg it is easy to clean. Dry it fully after washing.

Light all three once, and you will see why so many Balaji devotees keep one in the mandir.

What are your murtis made of?

We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.

Will the murti look exactly like the photos?

Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.

How long will delivery take?

Orders within India are usually delivered in 6–10 days, with free shipping. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.

Do you ship outside India?

Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.

Can I get a custom murti made?

Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.

How do I clean and care for my murti?

Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.

Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.

Which payment options are available?

You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
