16 Inch Large Brass Ganesh Idol
11.2 kg. Keep that number in mind before you pick a spot for this 16 inch large brass ganesh idol, because once he is in place, Ganpati stays right there.
Placing an 11.2 kg Ganpati
Lift him from the base with both hands, never by the arms, the trunk or the prabhavali. If the shelf is above your waist, ask someone to help. Pick a flat, strong top that is wider than the base, and keep him back from the edge.
Ganpati on his double lotus seat
A tall crown rises over his head, with a prabhavali behind it, edged with pointed petals. He has four arms. His trunk turns to his own left and rests on a bowl of laddoos held in his lower left hand. Down at his foot sits his mushak, with a long tail running along the seat. Leaf scrolls stand on both sides like a frame, and the whole murti sits on two rows of lotus petals. Look at those petals closely: each line was cut by a karigar with a chisel after casting.
A brass ganesh statue of this size suits a pooja room, a temple shelf or the front hall of an office. Families setting up a new home or a new shop often want a large brass ganesh statue that fills the space, and this one does it without taking over the room.
Which way does his trunk turn?
To his own left, which is your right as you face him. Most homes choose this side for daily pooja.
Will he sit in your pooja room, or greet guests in the hall?
What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.
How long will delivery take?
Orders within India are usually delivered in 6–10 days, with free shipping. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.
Do you ship outside India?
Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.
Can I get a custom murti made?
Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.
How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
