Brass Tree Decor: Wall Trees, Standing Trees and Tree Lamps

A tree in brass fills a bare wall or an empty corner like nothing else can. This page brings together all our tree pieces, more than 45 of them, from a 5.5 inch table piece to a 75 inch tree that covers a whole wall. Every brass tree for home here is cast in brass and finished by hand with chisel work, leaf by leaf.

Kinds of trees you will find

  • Wall trees (17 pieces): kalpavriksha and tree of life wall hangings, plain or antique, some with Kamdhenu or an elephant under the branches. The biggest is the 65 inch kalpavriksha tree wall hanging.
  • Standing trees with birds for the floor or a big table, like the 36 inch tree with birds and the 40 inch banyan tree on a stand.
  • Bodhi trees, on the wall or with Lord Buddha sitting under the tree.
  • Krishna under the tree: Krishna or Radha Krishna under the kadamb or kalpavriksha tree, in about 13 pieces. More are on the Krishna Idols page.
  • Tree lamps that hold diyas on the branches, and an urli with a tree.
  • A brass Christmas tree for December.

Choosing one for your space

For a side table or shelf, pick something from 7 to 14 inch. A living room wall or the space behind a sofa looks full with a 20 to 36 inch wall tree. Trees above 40 inch are for big walls, hotel lobbies, offices and farmhouses; they weigh a lot, so plan wall anchors and two or three people to fix them. Floor trees need a flat, strong spot where nobody will knock the branches.

Caring for brass leaves

Dust between the leaves with a soft paint brush once a week. Wipe with a dry cloth, and polish with lemon and salt only before a festival, drying well after. Antique finish pieces need just a dry cloth.

Questions buyers ask

What is a kalpavriksha?

It is the wish-fulfilling tree from Hindu stories, believed to grant what you pray for. That is why many families hang a brass kalpavriksha tree near the entrance or in the living room.

How do I hang a big wall tree?

Use strong wall anchors or hooks at the points on the back, and lift it with help. Check the weight on the product page first.

Is it a good gift?

Yes. Trees are a popular pick for a griha pravesh, a new office or a wedding, because they suit every home and every faith.

Can I use the tree lamps every day?

Yes. Fill the diyas with oil or ghee, and wipe off old oil once the lamp cools. For more lamps, see Brass Diyas and Lamps, and for wall decor of every kind, Brass Home Decor.
