12 Inch Brass Horse and Foal Statue
Follow the big horse’s mane along its back: it keeps flowing until it turns into the trunk and branches of a tree. That one idea makes this 12 inch brass horse and foal statue very different from a plain brass horse showpiece.
Start from the head. The mother horse walks forward with her head bent a little, her mane cut in long wavy lines. Her front legs look like tree roots coming out of the ground. Under the curve of her body, a young foal trots along with one front leg lifted, as if it is trying to keep up. The ground under them has a dotted texture, and a plain strip runs along the bottom edge.
The piece is made like an open cut-out panel, so you see the wall behind through it, and it is finished on both sides. At about 5 kg and a little wider than it is tall, it sits steady on a console table, a TV unit or an office desk. It is cast in brass, and the hair lines are cut by hand with chisel work.
A horse on the move is believed to bring progress in work and life, and a mother and foal statue is a warm sight in a family home. It also makes a thoughtful gift for parents or a new business.
Wipe it with a dry cloth, and use a soft brush to clear dust from the dotted ground.
Keep it where the family gathers, and let the little foal remind you that every big journey starts with one step.
What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.

How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
