16 Inch Brass Ashta Lakshmi Urli with Diyas
Fill it with water in the morning, float a few flowers, and light the little diyas in the evening. That is how most families use this 16 inch brass ashta lakshmi urli with diyas, and it looks right at home in a pooja room or near the main door.
Using it every day
The bowl is wide and smooth inside, so water and flowers sit nicely and it is easy to wipe out. On both sides of Maa Lakshmi there is a short stand with small diya cups around it. Add a little ghee or oil and cotton wicks, and light them for evening aarti or on Diwali night.
What you see on it
Maa Lakshmi stands on top in the centre, holding a lotus in each raised hand. Around the outer rim are round panels, and each panel shows one of the eight forms of Lakshmi, seated. That is why it is called an Ashta Lakshmi urli. The bowl rests on open, curly carved legs. This brass urli is cast and then finished by hand with chisel work.
Keeping it clean
Change the water daily and dry the bowl with a soft cloth. Clean the carved rim with a soft dry brush, and wipe the diya cups once they cool.
Is it heavy with water in it?
It weighs about 13 kg empty, so put it in place first and then fill it.
Many people simply call it a lakshmi urli. Light the diyas once and you will want to do it every evening.
What are your murtis made of?
We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.
Will the murti look exactly like the photos?
Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.
How long will delivery take?

Do you ship outside India?
Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.
Can I get a custom murti made?
Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.
How do I clean and care for my murti?
Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.
Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.
Which payment options are available?
You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
