35 Inch Brass Sitting Shiva Statue
This 35 inch brass sitting Shiva statue shows Mahadev at rest, with one hand raised to bless you. It is a large and heavy piece, made for a home temple, a big hall or a temple.
Look closely and you will see
- Shiva sitting cross-legged, his left hand resting on his knee.
- His right hand raised, palm facing you, giving blessings.
- A tall trishul with a small damru tied to it, standing at his side.
- A naag rising behind his shoulder with its hood open.
- Ganga ji on top of his hair bun, and the moon on one side of it.
- The third eye on his forehead, long bead malas, armbands and bracelets.
- A rock-style seat with an animal face carved at the front.
The whole statue is in bright golden brass, with fine lines on the hair, the malas and the seat.
Size, weight and where to keep it
It is 35 inches tall (88.9 cm), 22 inches wide (55.88 cm) and 14 inches deep (35.56 cm), and it weighs 37.95 kg. A piece this heavy should sit on the floor or on a strong, low platform. It suits a big pooja room, a home temple, an office lobby or a temple hall.
Why families keep a sitting Shiva
Shiva, also called Mahadev or Bholenath, is the calm one who sits in meditation on Mount Kailash. Many devotees keep his sitting form at home for peace, and pray to him on Mondays and on Mahashivratri.
Questions people ask
How do I move it? Always lift it from the base with two or three people, never from the trishul or the raised hand.
How do I keep it shining? Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth now and then. That is all it needs.
If you have been looking for a big Shiva murti that feels calm and full of life, this one will fill your pooja room nicely.
About Our Products
We offer authentic brass idols, stone idols, and handmade Pattachitra paintings. Each piece is handmade by skilled artisans, so slight variations in colour, finish, texture, or size are natural and make every piece unique. These are handcrafted items, not machine-made products.
Colour & Finish
As these are handmade, the natural colour and finish may vary slightly from the photos depending on light and screen. Over time, brass may develop a natural antique tone — this is normal and does not affect quality.

Product Care
Handle these handmade pieces gently. For brass and stone idols, keep them away from moisture and harsh chemicals, and wipe with a soft dry cloth. For Pattachitra paintings, dust can only be removed with a dry cloth — never use water or any liquid.
