9.5 Inch Brass Nataraja Statue

On Maha Shivratri night, and on Arudra Darshan in the month of Margazhi, many homes and dance schools light a lamp before Nataraja. This 9.5 inch brass nataraja statue is a good size for that: big enough to see every detail, small enough for a home mandir or a classroom shelf.

Using it on festival days

Place him on a clean shelf with a lamp in front and a little space around the ring. Dancers often keep a small nataraja statue at the side of the practice room and touch the base before class. At about 1.5 kg he is easy to lift and move to the pooja table on the day, then back to his place.

What you see

Shiva dances inside a round ring of fire, with flame points all along its edge and an open band of small cut shapes inside it. His long hair flies out on both sides. His upper right hand holds the damru and his upper left hand holds a flame. The lower right hand is raised in blessing, and the lower left arm swings across his body towards his raised foot. His right foot rests on Apasmara, the small figure of ignorance lying under him. A sash flies out from his waist. The ring and the dancer stand on a lotus seat over a stepped square base. Everything is finished by hand with chisel work after casting.

Wipe him with a soft dry cloth, and use a soft brush for the open ring.

Keep him where you start your day, and let his dance remind you to keep moving with joy.

What are your murtis made of?

We offer both brass and stone murtis, handcrafted by skilled artisans. The material, exact size and weight of each murti are listed in the product details on this page.

Will the murti look exactly like the photos?

Every murti is handmade, so small differences are natural. Brass murtis can vary slightly in colour and finish, and stone murtis can show natural veins, shade and texture of the stone. The design and size stay the same as shown.

How long will delivery take?

Orders within India are usually delivered in 6–10 days, with free shipping. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.

Do you ship outside India?

Yes, we ship internationally. Message us on WhatsApp with your country and the murti you like, and we will share the shipping cost and delivery time.

Can I get a custom murti made?

Yes. Share the deity, material (brass or stone), size and finish you want on WhatsApp, and we will guide you on the design, price and making time.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Please record a video while opening the parcel. If anything is damaged, send us the video and photos on WhatsApp and we will help you with a replacement or return as per our return policy.

How do I clean and care for my murti?

Brass: wipe gently with a soft, dry cotton cloth. Avoid water, lemon and chemical polish. Brass slowly develops a warm patina over time; this is natural.

Stone: dust with a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it dry fully. Avoid acidic cleaners, soaps and harsh chemicals. Handle with care and place it on a stable, flat surface, as stone can chip if it falls.

Which payment options are available?

You can pay securely online using UPI, debit or credit cards and net banking.
